Escapees club is the best RV club to join when you RV full time. The members are super nice and they have so much seminars and activities to participate. Best of all, you make friends that support your RVing no matter where you at. We belongs to the sub chapter in the club call BOF. The BOF we are in are MDT and Boomers.

Our good friends, the O’Bosky. We stay in their ranch last year for a month. We met in Escapade and the MDT forum. We were in Quartzsite 2005 and spend some wonderful time together. Here is their new rig.

This is the place where Padraic brought

their 1998 Volvo 610 truck in 2002. It is a Knight Truck. Sales person Blake pick up Padraic from the airport and showed Padraic how to drive the big Volvo for half an hour. He drove back from Salt Lake City to Atlanta in 4 days covered 1900 miles on way. Here is a picture where the truck was at Allatoona GA campground.

Over three years of time; before and during we set sail for full timing; we read a lot of RV books and magazines. Here is a few that we remember.

As a Escapees member, we got the magazine monthly. It has great articles on RVing and the full time life style. It provide a lot of information on parking and events which the club offer. We looking forward to read it on every issues.

We meet Mike and Terri in an Escapees event call Escapade in 2004. We brought the books. It has great day to day information on traveling to Alaska and Mexico. Theses are the places we plan to visit soon.

Padraic read this book before we got our rig. Stephanie inspired us the life style. It has great information how to start. How to choose a rig? The meaning of working and many inspiring thoughts. She and her husband are also in Escapees Boomers and retire young and early.

Padraic read this book before we start our full timing life style. The book shows us how to setup the life style. The author go in budgeting, the cost and where to find work to supplement. How to forward mail and choosing a state and vehicle registering.

We loved the book title, it is hard to do when we and most people think our / their lives are the job and career. It takes a force change like a job layoff like us to pick up the new adventure. We created ours and so can anyone. It does take courage. and think out of the box.
